PRP / PRFM
Platelet Rich Fibrin Matrix (PRFM) treatment involves the application of a concentration of the patients own platelet rich plasma (PRP) that is spun down via a centrifuge device from blood we gently draw from your arm. After we apply numbing cream, the microneedling pen uses a fractionated pattern of micro needles to drive the PRP into the dermal – epidermal junction (DEJ). PRP is a very effective treatment by taking advantage of the bodies own powerful growth factors to stimulate healing and rejuvenation. The treatment is easily administered and there is little to no clinical downtime.
This treatment is used to help with all skin types and is a corrective and preventative therapy to treat fine lines and wrinkles, manage scars from acne or other injuries, improve skin texture and color from melasma presentations, reduce stretch mark appearance and stimulate new collagen growth & hair restoration! It may be used in conjunction with Radio Frequency Microneedling, AquaGold Fine Touch or as a stand alone treatment.
