While both dermal fillers and injectables serve to improve your appearance, they work in different ways and target various concerns. Dermal fillers are designed to add volume and fullness to areas of the face that have lost their natural plumpness over time. This can help to smooth out wrinkles, enhance lips, or restore volume in the cheeks. Fillers can be used in the following areas:

• Cheeks - Cheeks are the main support for the mid-face and as we age, we lose volume that we once had. This treatment will help restore that loss resulting in a more youthful appearance and provide more contoured cheeks. Treatment typically requires 1-3 syringes.

• Chin - Filler in this area can be used to shape, restore and add volume to achieve the perfect pout! Numbing cream is used for improved comfort during the treatment.

• Earlobe - Heavy earrings weighing your earlobes down? We have a solution for you! Filler can restore and rejuvenate aging and deflated earlobes.

• Hands - Filler may be used to restore volume lost in hands, which will provide a more youthful appearance, since hands are one of the predictors of ones age.

• Jawline (Lower Face) - Maybe you’re born with it or maybe it’s filler, either way, no one will know!! 2-4 syringes of filler is strategically used to sculpt and define the jawline, giving you a more chiseled profile.

• Lips- A little or a lot...that is the question! Filler in this area can be used to shape, restore and add volume to achieve the perfect pout! Numbing cream is used for improved comfort during the treatment.

• Laugh (Smile) Lines - Filler may be used to soften the appearance of your nasal labial fold, also known as smile/laugh lines.

• Under the Eye - Filler may reduce the appearance of hollowing under the eyes. This quick 30 minute procedure will leave you looking well rested and refreshed! We may also suggest cheek filler in addition, to achieve optimal outcome.

We do offer to Dissolve Fillers! Whether you’re unhappy with a previous treatment done by another provider or just want a blank canvas, we can dissolve your filler for you. Price is based on one area and may require multiple treatment sessions

Does it hurt?

At Wisdom & Youth we apply a numbing cream prior to all filler treatments. Once applied, most clients report a very little discomfort.  

What will I look and feel like afterwards?

Sometimes clients become a little red, both from the topical numbing cream applied and from the treatment itself. Bruising can happen with any injection, and it is a fairly common reported side effect. Also, it's very normal to have some tenderness at the treated sites for a few days. However, most bruising is easily covered with makeup.
